The building is Listed by the Ministry of Cultural and Envinronment Patrimonium. Our aim is to look for an equilibrium between the Historic value of the place and the Relaxation and Comfort needs of our Guests, who are for us special and unique people. In line with our Philosophy, the Historic House Le Logge di Silvignano is not a traditional hotel. For us, Diana and Alberto, it is actually a “love affair”, the carrying out of our common life project. We therefore dream of people who love Nature and History as we do, and choose this place for their holidays looking for the Harmony that surrounds it. We want such persons feel themseves at home, in peace and privacy. The House is made of just a few large Suite, one double Standard Room, and our Home. We personally cared for and supervised the restoration of the buildings, preserving their characteristics, the spaces and the original athmosphere. The architectural details have been enhanced, the antique floor cotto tiles have been reclaimed. Some of the furnitures are antique, some are made by local artisans. Bed linen and linen curtains are wowen on the antique Montefalco looms, art ceramics are from Deruta and Torgiano, and family paintings and furnitures are “blended” toghether. We tried to match all of this with the standards of comfort, elegance and privacy we would expect in our ideal holiday, wishing our guests share it with us. The main part of the garden is surrounded by big oak, elms and olive trees, the swimming pool in the centre, and over 200 plants among lavender, rosemary, thyme, myrtle, abelia, cartegus, broom and pomegranate, and more than 50 different kind of rose. The Pool is located in the most panoramic but reserved part of the garden, sunny from sunrise to sunset, equipped with sunbeds, umbrellas, and areas in the shade. | We would like to welcome you to the Podere Caldaruccio consisting of 3 country farm houses -all of them situated on a hill- top with a fantastic view, and an impressive very old pine grove which is the landmark for the little village below. The apartments are from a minimum of 45 to an average space of 100 square metres, (the biggest villa is 220 ) all of them have been restored taking care to leave the original structure. They are comfortable and the rooms are furnished with antique furniture together with modern comfort as satellite colour television ETC. We also have a tower room on top of the farm house with a wonderful view to be used as a double or triple room of about 35 square meters and a bathroom with a bath-tub. In particular, we have the “Baita” apartment of 40 square metres with a double and a single bed furnished with lovely pieces of antiques (the double bed belonged to a count of the end the 18th century), a kitchen provided with all tools, a fireplace and a bathroom with shower. Another apartment “Chalet” is of about 100 square metres and can be occupied by up to 2 families with children (even 4+3) because it has 2 very big bedrooms a large living-room with a fireplace and an onsite kitchen, a very big bathroom and 2 independent entrances. The pride of the owner is the last restoration just finished, with the ? and the 2 big apartments of about 100 square meters each with 2 big bedrooms 2 bathrooms (one with a spa bath-tub) and a very big kitchen-living-room area and a porch overlooking the chlorine free swimming-pool the name is "Cottage”.
