| Borgo poggiolo'the farm house on the little hill'is perched on a hilltop overlooking an untouched wooded valley in the gentle umbrian hills, just off the ancient etruscan road from Orvieto to Perugia. The 17th century farm buildings have been faithfully restored in the typical local style with many original features, retaining all of its authenticity and rustic charm, divided into apartments sleeping 2,4 or 6 people and some double rooms. Nearby Orvieto and Montepulciano, world renowned for their wines, and both are beautiful towns to visit, just as Assisi has been known through the ages for its pilgrimages.Still do-able in a day, are the wonderful cities of Siena, Perugia, Florence and Rome. Close by, and quite a find, are the gardens at la Scarzuola, an ancient monastery founded by St.Francis of Assisi himself, now a stunning garden and outdoor theatre complex that has to be seen to be believed. Borgo poggiolo has something for everyone, its the perfect place to come and explore the tranquil umbrian countryside or just relax by the pool with a good book and birdsong for background : discover the secret. The apartments: Arco : ( 2 people) 31 m². Called Arch linking the two parts of the building. A pretty apartment consisting of living/bed-room, furnished kitchen, bathroom with shower and independent entrance. Pietra antica: ( 2 people) 40 m² . This flat is flooded by the sunrise. Spacious living/bed-room, furnished kitchen, bathroom with shower and independent entrance. Panorama: (4 people) 76 m². This flat has an enviable view over the umbrian valleys and hills. Kitchen/living-room with fire-place, two double bed-rooms with bathroom and shower, possibility of additional bed, independent entrance. Terrazza: (6 people) 135 m² The jewel in the crown. Living-room and sitting-room with a large windowed door that opens to a beautiful terrace with a splendid view. Two bathrooms, one with bathtub the other with shower. Three double bed-rooms, possibility of additional beds, furnished kitchen and independent entrance. There are also 3 separate double rooms with en-suite bathrooms. 18/27/30 m². All apartments have use of the extensive grounds. Price includes final cleaning .Change of bed linen and towels once a week if staying for more than one week.
